CAD TECH is Aaron, a trade-qualified boilermaker who spent 10 years in fabrication before moving into mechanical design and drafting. That's why his drawings are different. He's stood on the shop floor with his own drawings in hand, so he knows exactly what a fabricator needs to quote and build accurately, and what classroom-trained drafters tend to miss.
His work covers heavy industry and mining, custom fabrication, automotive and motorsport, and engineering overflow. The throughline is accuracy, and knowing what "ready to build" really means.
"Amazing experience from start to finish. Aaron delivered exactly what we were after, we will 100% be working with CAD TECH again."

Not sure where your job fits? Send it through anyway. If a sketch, a sample part or a 3D model exists, there's a way forward.
Yes. CAD TECH works with clients Australia-wide. Most drafting work is handled remotely, with files sent back and forth digitally, so where you're based isn't a barrier.
All modelling and drafting is done in SolidWorks. Finished work can be supplied in the format your workshop or engineer needs, from native SolidWorks files through to STEP, DXF and PDF drawing packs.
Yes. Plenty of good parts start life as a sketch on a job sheet, a photo of a worn-out component, or a description over the phone. CAD TECH builds the 3D model from your sketch or idea, sends it through for approval, then produces the full manufacturing drawings.
Ten years on the tools as a boilermaker before drafting. The drawings are laid out the way a fabricator actually works: tolerances that suit the process, weld prep that can be done with the gear in a normal shop, and bend lines that account for what steel really does in a press.
Trade-certified expertise in metal fabrication and engineering construction.
Nationally accredited mastery of technical and mechanical drafting.
Work out the weight of plate, bar or tube before you order material or book a lift. Mild steel, stainless or aluminium, no sign-up.
